A Chinese man named Chen acquired a pet mouse in a home where he already owned a cat. The cat paced around the cage with excitement when the mouse arrived. After observing his pet cat for several days and concluding that the cat was not really intimidating the mouse, Chen let the mouse out of the cage. The two animals apparently instantly became friends.
Whilst Chen was being interviewed about the unusual relationship of his two pets, the mouse constantly climbed the cat’s back and sat on its head. According to a local expert at the pet hospital, well-fed house cats don’t necessarily see mice as food. We hope that Chen’s house cat never gets hungry.
