In keeping with our record of cat mutilation cases, here’s a case that was determined to have been caused by ‘human hands’. The wicked shall never rest. I think the Animal Cruelty Societies are now seeking far tougher convictions for such crimes.

In following up with our investigation on cat mutilations, something we saw recently on mystery sites touting unearthly reasons for the mutilations - by unearthly we don’t mean witchcraft but UFO’s. All this seemed to have happened a while back in Denver in 2003 but we think its important enough to discuss the implications of too much hysteria; easily picked up by these mystery-mongering websites which would like to suggest that UFO’s are now picking up cats; having expanded their practice from cattle mutilation, to examine them to see whether they are affected by BSE or other form of CJD disease.

We cannot sufficiently stress how important it is to ‘keep our head’ on - Walter puts a straight view on the hysteria:

It all makes you wonder - why on earth would aliens and UFOs decide to mutilate cats, keep half of their bodies for examination and leave the rest to frighten us? The reasons these sites give for leaving the other half on earth is to inform us (in a not-so-direct manner) that they are ‘looking out for us’. They are trying to tell us - “look, hey you, your cat may have BSE or CJD disease and we’re trying to hint to you that we are doing experiments on them.”
A sex-addicted Koala bear, Chumbee, is being lined up to make the rounds at Koala bear zoo colonies after being loaned once to show a reluctant male Koala in Vienna’s Schoenbrunn Zoo ‘how to do it’. To the delight of the zoo manager, Chumbee just can’t stop going and stops only to sleep and eat.

Chumbee, 5 years old, was borrowed by Schoenbrunn Zoo from Scotland’s Edinburgh Zoo. According to Schoenbrunn Zoo Manager, Helmut Pechlaner:
“Chumbee hasn’t stopped since he got here, it has been almost non stop sex in the koala enclosure ever since, and now even our own male is joining in.
“We are confident we will soon be seeing the padding of tiny koala paws.”
Several other zoos now want to borrow Chumbee to invigorate other zoo Koala colonies.

The Humane Society of the US (HSUS) is calling for jail time in a Pittsburgh dog mutilation case in a second high profile Pittsburgh case involving animal cruelty charges in recent months.
The HSUS has written to Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. today, urging strong prosecution of a shocking case in which a 30-year old Homewood man, Mr. Jamarow Trowery, is accused of shooting his newly adopted dog, severing the animal’s paw and attempting to decapitate him.

Mr. Trowery is charged with animal cruelty and a firearms violation in connection with the dog’s horrific death earlier this month. The HSUS asked Zappala to seek meaningful jail time, mandatory psychological counseling and a ban on owning or living with animals upon any conviction in this case.
WASHINGTON - Top White House officials announced that a previously unknown planet discovered on the outer rim of our solar system would henceforth be known as “Little Arbusto,” and that calling the planet “Sedna” or any other name would be unlawful.
“We’re not sure how to handle this situation,” Said Ted Whitinski, NASA project manager. “We had come up with some befitting scientific names for the tenth planet, but a threatening fax from Dick Cheney has made us think twice about going public with them.”

Whitinski went on to detail the fax, allegedly sent by Vice President Cheney on August 2.
“It stated that ‘the very sun, moon and stars’ exist to amuse George W. Bush, and that if we tried to name the planet anything ‘Science-esque,’ we would be shipped in gorilla crates to Guantanamo Bay, where our scrotal skin would be stripped off with a belt sander.” The fax reportedly went on to detail how scientists’ families would be interned in 1940s-style camps, and how their gold teeth would be seized and melted down into charms for Cheney and his friends to wear on special occasions.
In a highly unusual move, the Bush Administration invoked the article of Planetary Conquest, which was passed by congress, buried deep in the pages of the Patriot Act.
“This article gives us the right to name and exploit the resources of any planet, discovered or otherwise, in this galaxy or any other, for ever and ever amen,” said Bush during a recent question and answer session.

US President Bush Friday called for the creation of a global fund to promote clean technology that would be led by U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and for a “strong and transparent” way for nations to measure progress on fighting climate change but said that each country should set its own approach.
Bush’s speech to a U.S.-sponsored conference of major emitting countries indicated that a long-term goal for reducing global warming was needed but that “each nation will design its own separate strategies for making progress toward achieving this.”
Bush has been under pressure from the world’s major economies to accept binding limits on emissions of greenhouse gases and to end his six years of isolation from the global task force for reducing greenhouse-gas emissions. In his speech, he continued to emphasize voluntary approaches to tackling climate change and called the meeting as a precursor to United Nations talks in Bali in December, which will aim to launch a successor to the Kyoto Protocol, a treaty that set limits on industrial nations’ emissions.

“George Bush was castigated by European diplomats and found himself isolated yesterday after a special conference on climate change ended without any progress.
European ministers, diplomats and officials attending the Washington conference were scathing, particularly in private, over Mr Bush’s failure once again to commit to binding action on climate change.
Although the US and Britain have been at odds over the environment since the early days of the Bush administration, the gap has never been as wide as yesterday.
Britain and almost all other European countries, including Germany and France, want mandatory targets for reducing greenhouse emissions. Mr Bush, while talking yesterday about a “new approach” and “a historic undertaking”, remains totally opposed.
The conference, attended by more than 20 countries, including China, India, Britain, France and Germany, broke up with the US isolated, according to non-Americans attending. One of those present said even China and India, two of the biggest polluters, accepted that the voluntary approach proposed by the US was untenable and favoured binding measures, even though they disagreed with the Europeans over how this would be achieved.
A senior European diplomat attending the conference, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the meeting confirmed European suspicions that it had been intended by Mr Bush as a spoiler for a major UN conference on climate change in Bali in December.
“It was a total charade and has been exposed as a charade,” the diplomat said. “I have never heard a more humiliating speech by a major leader. He [Mr Bush] was trying to present himself as a leader while showing no sign of leadership. It was a total failure.”
Germany’s environment minister, Sigmar Gabriel, said after Bush’s speech at the State Department before representatives of the nations that are the world’s biggest emitters of greenhouse gases:
“This here was a great step for the Americans and a small step for mankind, … In substance, we are still far apart.”
In his speech, Bush acknowledged that climate change is real and that human activity is a factor. He stated:
“By setting this goal, we acknowledge there is a problem, and by setting this goal, we commit ourselves to doing something about it, …. We share a common responsibility: to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while keeping our economies growing.”
European diplomats welcomed Bush’s speech as the long-awaited attempt to build a bridge by the world’s No. 1 carbon polluter. Friends of the Earth US President stated:
“Instead of getting serious about reducing emissions, he proposes a voluntary approach that will lead to global warming catastrophe … Rather than joining the rest of the world and doing all he can to support the United Nations framework, he proposes separate meetings to sidetrack the UN process.”
The Guardian Unlimited reported that many US states have already embarked on their own programmes, with California leading the way. California’s governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, has signed into law, a 25% cut in greenhouse gas emissions requirements by 2020, with penalties for industries that do not comply. The state’s three biggest utilities must produce at least 20% of their electricity using renewable sources by 2010.
Richard Garriott, a game developer known for creating the multiplayer online game Ultima, will be the sixth private citizen to take a ride on a Russian Soyuz rocket to the International Space Station in October 2008. And in a way, he will follow in his father’s footsteps, but without the NASA credentials. Garriott’s dad is former NASA astronaut Owen Garriott, who flew to the first U.S. space station Skylab in the ’70s.
Garriott will fly with Vienna, Va.-based Space Adventures, a space tourism company that offers flights to ISS for between $25 million and $30 million. But because of a weakened dollar, the cost of the trips will go as high as $40 million in 2009.

The Guardian Lobby groups funded by the US oil industry are targeting Britain in a bid to play down the threat of climate change and derail action to cut greenhouse gas emissions, leading scientists have warned.
Bob May, president of the Royal Society, says that “a lobby of professional sceptics who opposed action to tackle climate change” is turning its attention to Britain because of its high profile in the debate.
Writing in the Life section of today’s Guardian, Professor May says the government’s decision to make global warming a focus of its G8 presidency has made it a target. So has the high profile of its chief scientific adviser, David King, who described climate change as a bigger threat than terrorism.
Prof May’s warning coincides with a meeting of climate change sceptics today at the Royal Institution in London organised by a British group, the Scientific Alliance, which has links to US oil company ExxonMobil through a collaboration with a US institute.
We have been seeing a few comments and articles online referring to the theory that global warming and climate change caused by emission of greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide content as being one of the greatest political lies ever. According to one commentator:
“Doom and gloom. Let’s hear it for computer projections based on assumptions and surmises. Don’t let the truth stand in the way of a good story; and let’s all queue up for grants from assorted governments and government bodies, to keep us wealthy in our old age. Junk science to support junk scientists (though most of them in the IPCC are not even scientists). Junk science to assist the government in stealing even more taxes from us.

There are apparently a lot of prominent scientists who are of the opinion that the complete theory of climate change due to man’s activities on earth is a deliberate political move initiated by the UN and promoted by the media to an amazing tomfoolery and swindle of the common man.

According to Conspiracy Archive, the term ‘Sustainable Development’ is in fact a global agenda structured on population control and further, that this a movement of vital proportion, ignored by the major media, kept off-limits from the general public, and has been on the United Nations (UN) drawing board for well over ten years. To quote:
“This movement would nullify our Constitutional structure with its freedoms and prerogatives enshrined in the Bill of Rights, including our unhampered right to religious freedom. It masquerades behind the facade of “sustainable development.”
In December 1983, Javier Perez de Cuellar, UN Secretary-General, asked Mrs. Gro Harlem Brundtland, Norway, to chair a World Commission on Environment and Development (UNCED) focusing on “long-term environmental strategies for achieving sustainable development by the year 2000 and beyond.” Mrs. Brundtland had previously been Prime Minister of Norway and had served on other UN Commissions - the Brandt Commission on North-South Issues and the Palme Commission on security and disarmament. Now she was asked “to help formulate a third and compelling call for political action” on environment and development.”
Here, says Conspiracy Archive, a one-world pattern begins to emerge:
the Brandt Commission bore the title “Program for Survival and Common Crisis”; the Palme Commission “Common Security”; and the Brundtland Commission, “Common Future”3 There is also a political cord common to the chairmen: Willy Brandt, former Prime Minister of Germany, was until his death president of the Socialist International. Olof Palme, Prime Minister of Sweden, was a socialist leader and Chairman of the Social Democratic Party who was assassinated in Stockholm. Gro Harlem Brundtland, former Prime Minister of Norway was also a “member of the Socialist International.” These chairmen shared the bond of socialism, a bond at variance with both the U.S. Constitution and the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church.
The Resolution adopted at the UN General Assembly in 1983 directed the chair and vice-chair of the new UNCED to “jointly appoint the remaining members of the Commission, half of whom were to be selected from the developing world.”4 Members of the Brundtland Commission came from 21 “very different nations” and included Jim McNeill and Maurice Strong from Canada and the American, William D. Ruckelshaus, the first head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (ERA). He is also a member of the Business Council for Sustainable Development launched in 1990 by Maurice Strong. The Business Council called for “new forms of cooperation between government, business and society to achieve sustainable development.”
What Is Meant By Sustainable Development?
The Brundtland Commission describes Sustainable Development as “Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” It is further defined: “. . . Sustainable Development can only be pursued if demographic developments are in harmony with the changing productive potential of the ecosystem.” And again, . . . “at a minimum Sustainable Development must not endanger the natural systems that support life on Earth - the waters, the soils, and the living beings” The pattern that begins to surface here becomes more pronounced in the body of the Commission’s report which was presented to the UN General Assembly in 1987.
The thrust of the “unanimous report” after three years of hearings held on five continents appears in the Chairman’s Foreword in comments such as “the rights of people to adequate food, sound housing, safe water, to access to means of choosing the size of their families” (xi); “. . . survival issues relating to uneven development, poverty and population growth” (xii); “the need for ‘major changes’ . . . in attitudes and in the way our societies are organized” (xiii).
Following the Chairman’s Foreword, an “Overview By The Commission Members” becomes more specific: “. . . Sustainable Development is not a fixed state of harmony, but rather a process of change. . . . We do not pretend that the process is easy or straightforward. Painful choices have to be made. Thus in the final analysis, sustainable development must rest on political will.” “Governments that need to do so should develop long-term multifaceted population policies and a campaign to pursue broad demographic goals to strengthen social, cultural and economic motivations for family planning, and to provide to all who want them the education, contraceptives and services required.” Dispersed throughout the 400 pages of Our Common Future are so many references to population: “Population and Human Resources,” “The Population Perspective,” “Managing Population Growth,” as to suggest a pre-conceived agenda. At the conclusion of its final meeting held in Tokyo in 1987, the Commission recommended “principles to guide their policy actions” including Principle #4 to “Ensure a Sustainable Level of Population” “Population policies should be formulated and integrated with other economic and social development programmes. . . . Increased access to family planning services is itself a form of social development that allows couples, and women in particular, the right to self-determination.”

“There was only one scientific advisor on the [Channel 4 Climate Swindle] programme, Martin Livermore, whose sole scientific qualification is that he is the Director of a web-based think tank, The Scientific Alliance. The Alliance was set up by in 2001 by Robert Durward, the fiercely anti-green director of the British Aggregates Association, and Foresight Communications, a Westminster public relations and lobbying company, to “counter scare-mongering by the so-called green lobby”.
The Scientific Alliance has no affiliation with any recognised scientific body but, like most of the contributors to the programme, it does have very strong links with the US public relations and lobbying organizations that have been so effective in setting the Bush agenda on climate change.”
The Wired Magazine ran an article on the Majestic 12, better known as MJ-12:
“1947: If the secret committee known as the Majestic 12 ever really existed, this is the day that the group was allegedly created by a memorandum from President Harry Truman.
If real, this shadowy coven of scientists, military brass and government officials came together in response to the Army’s recovery of an alien spacecraft that crashed on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947. Their purpose: to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Roswell incident and to maintain vigilance against further alien incursions.
Among the names who appear as original members of MJ-12: Rear Adm. Roscoe Hillenkoetter, first director of the CIA; Dr. Vannevar Bush, who headed the wartime Office of Scientific Research and Development; and James Forrestal, secretary of defense” …. “The military continues to maintain that the wreckage retrieved at the Roswell ranch came from a top-secret research balloon.

That explanation has never flown with UFO watchers, who have produced a mountain of evidence purporting to prove that not only does MJ-12 exist, but there’s a really big cover-up going on. (Forrestal’s untimely death in 1949, officially ruled a suicide, has helped fuel the fire.)”

The MJ-12 Documents
The MJ-12 documents are alleged to date from 1942 to 1997 and are hotly debated in the UFO community. The documents include diagrams and records of tests on UFOs, memos on various coverups, descriptions of the President’s statements about UFO-related issues and even conduct to be used when meeting an alien. They also contain supposed signatures of famous and important persons such as Albert Einstein and Ronald Reagan. No more documents have been leaked or released since 1997. Their authenticity remains uncertain, and some claim them to be entirely fake.
However, even before the appearance of the various dubious MJ-12 documents, Canadian documents dating from 1950 and 1951 were uncovered in 1978. The Canadian documents mention the existence of an unnamed and highly classified UFO study group operating within the Pentagon’s Research & Development Board (RDB) which was headed by Dr. Vannevar Bush. Proponents argue that the documents remain the most compelling evidence that such a group did exist. Coupled with some testimony from a few government scientists who were involved with this project, its existence appears very real.

Nov. 29, 1983: Letter from Dr. Robert Sarbacher to William Steinman - Robert Sarbacher confirms the recovery of flying saucers and beings, but says he knows of no specifics. The letter also confirms that Engineer and Science Administrator Vannevar Bush was definitely involved and also Mathematician John von Neuman; probably Theoretical Physicist Robert Oppenheimer and Director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center Dr. Wernher von Braun - a WWII Hitler SS Officer who held honorary Assault Leader Rank (Sturmbahnfuehrer). Wernher von Braun was technical director of the German Peenemuende Rocket Center in 1937, where the V-2 rocket was developed; he was brought to the US under ‘Operation Paperclip’. By the end of World War II, he had led approximately 120 of his V-2 rocket team members to surrender and work for the US.
If we may digress here, under Operation Paperclip, another eighty-six German aeronautical experts were brought over from Germany to the US during the course of surrender to the Allies. Operation Alsos, Operation Big, Operation Lusty and the Target Intelligence Committee (TICOM) were additional US efforts to capture German nuclear secrets and equipment; aeronautical secrets and equipment; experts in cryptography and all their further personnel - all were entered into the US via legal status through Mexico.
Sarbacher describes that he was told by team members involved that the flying saucer materials were “very light and very tough.” and that the aliens were ‘insectlike’, in that they were small with low mass which appeared to enable them to withstand high accelerations. Apparently, Sarbacher himself was not witness to the beings at the crash site but went solely on what was related to him by others in the program.
Who is Robert I. Sarbacher? Oddly, information about him is very scarce and mostly centers around the letter he wrote to William Steinmann - not even Wikipedia has a page on him, but it is generally accepted that he was an electrical engineer and physicist who distinguished in the physical sciences at the John Hopkins and Harvard Universities. He also studied in Princeton under Albert Einstein. After the 2nd World War, he had administrative bonds with the scientific and military establishment of America and worked as scientific consultant for the US Navy and the Department of Defense (DoD).
A search for Robert Sarbacher on Google brings up mainly pages on UFO and conspiracy sites and rarely nothing else but a search on Google Scholar brings up many patents which Sarbacher had registered, mostly in California where he lived and mostly in cooperation with other inventors. The patents have titles such as “Electrochemical Energy Cell”, “Self-Powered Refrigerated Disposable Container”, “Light Source (adapted to supply emergency lighting with extremely long stand-by life)”. It is also noted that Sarbacher moved around a lot in California as the patents were registered with various California addresses. And so, it appears that he did exist. From what we can gather from a French Canadian web site, Sarbacher died in 1980.
In 1990, a Canadian researcher for the Canadian government, Mr. William B. Smith, revealed that he had managed to have an interview with Dr. Sarbacher on 15th September 1950 and this was the transcript of that interview:
Sarbacher was apparently involved as a ‘Dollar-A-Year Man’. In Sarbacher’s words:
“You must understand that I took this assignment as a private contribution. We were called “dollar-a-year men”. My first responsibility was the maintenance of my own business activity so that my participation was limited.
About the only thing I remember at this time is that certain materials reported to have come from flying saucer crashes were extremely light and very tough. I am sure our laboratories analyzed them very carefully.
There were reports that instruments or people operating these machines were also of very light weight, sufficient to withstand the tremendous deceleration and acceleration associated with their machinery. I remember in talking with some of the people at the office that I got the impression these “aliens” were constructed like certain insects we have observed on earth, wherein because of the low mass the inertial forces involved in operation of these instruments would be quite low.
I still do not know why the high order of classification has been given and why the denial of the existence of these devices.”
Sarbacher claimed he had been invited to briefings in the 1949-1950 period at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB). The subject of the briefing was a flying saucer recovery made in the western part of the United States.
The Death of Milton William Cooper:
The circumstances surrounding Milton William Cooper’s controversial death also doesn’t help the conspiracy theory about government cover-ups and UFO’s.
Cooper was an advocate for free radio and operated the unlicensed Independence Foundation Trust at 101.1 FM in Eagar, Arizona. He also claimed to have helped over 700 low power FM affiliate stations get equipped and on the air. Cooper became a popular speaker on the UFO lecture circuit, and expanded his account into the book Behold A Pale Horse, ISBN 0-929385-22-5 (1991) which details many of his claims about various conspiracy theories. The title was taken from the Bible, Revelation 6:8: “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.”
Written after Cooper had been a member of the US Naval Intelligence Briefing Team of the Commander in Chief of the United States Pacific Fleet, ‘Behold a Pale Horse’ details Cooper’s claims about the influence of UFOs on the US government, the New World Order, the assassination of President Kennedy, and the Apollo Moon landing. Cooper openly stated that:
“Investigation of the alleged Internal Revenue Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has disclosed a broad, premeditated conspiracy to defraud the Citizens of the United States of America. Examination of the United States Code, the Code of Federal Regulations, the Statutes at Large, Congressional Record, the Federal Register, and Internal Revenue manuals too numerous to list, reveals a crime of such magnitude that words cannot adequately describe the betrayal of the American people. What we uncovered has clearly been designed to circumvent the limitations of the Constitution for the United States of America and to implement the Communist Manifesto within the 50 States. Marx and Engels claimed that, in the effort to create a classless society, a “graduated income tax” could be used as a weapon to destroy the middle class. [ . . . ] Through the clever use of language, the government promotes the fraud.”
An outspoken critic of what he considered US government abuses, Cooper was charged with what seems to be ’set-up’ crimes, including tax evasion from 1992 to 1994, and bank fraud for giving false information on a loan application. In later years, Cooper recanted his UFO-oriented beliefs, asserting that they were in fact part of the Illuminati plot to subjugate the United States.
In the 1990s Cooper’s interest moved from UFOs, to covert government programs, and finally to the militia movement. He concluded that all UFO reports were New World Order propaganda.
On November 5, 2001, officers of the Apache County Sheriff’s Office decided to serve Cooper a warrant based on the several charges. For reasons which were never explained, the Sheriff’s Office sent deputies to Cooper’s home at approximately 11:00PM, and instead of knocking on his door and announcing themselves, the deputies attempted to lure Cooper from his house by posing as civilians playing loud music on or near his property. Cooper, who was an above the knee amputee, went down to investigate the scene in his truck. It is disputed as to whether the deputies identified themselves or tried to serve an arrest warrant at that time. Nevertheless, Cooper announced he was returning to his house to contact the Eagar Police Department, either to verify the warrant or to contact the local authorities in order to report what he may have still believed was a real disturbance. Before he could do so however, the sheriff’s deputies tried to apprehend him, at which point shooting began. Cooper was armed and one deputy was wounded. Another deputy returned fire, killing Cooper.
What seems to be a full life led by Robert Irving Sarbacher, begins to look like he was lucky that the information in letters to others which were only revealed after his death which may have spared him an early ’staged’ death - specifically for revealing enough information in the few letters and interviews he gave. We are not saying that everyone close to the government program as a player and revealing or hinting at their cover-ups or investigating UFO’s and accusing the government of misdemeanor is a targeted victim of the government but it does seem that anyone close to the program, involved in the program or who knew much about it, were exposed to a high probability of accidental death, dubious suicide and even what looks like aggravated psychological victimization at which point their careers were damaged irreparably, sometimes sudden mental degradation and institutionalization - this includes scientists and men/persons of very high intellect such as former Secretary of Defense, James Forrestal.
In the case of Forrestal, he not only ‘lost his mind’ but supposedly jumped to his death after having tied a noose around his neck. Not only was jumping to your death from 16 floors up a building with a noose tied around his neck unusual as though the jump alone would not kill him, the hospital personnel were instructed by his seniors to keep him on a high floor which is very unusual procedure to house a suicide-prone individual.
During the period where he was kept under strict surveillance in the army’s medical center, his brother had extreme difficulty getting permission to visit him and all Forrestal’s requests to receive priests or men of the clergy were refused without any meaningful or fair explanation. Before any autopsy or investigation could even begin, the hospital immediately signed papers confirming that his death was suicide. His brother not only did not believe that he committed suicide but according to Father Sheehy, when Sheehy arrived at Bethesda Naval Hospital after learning of Forrestal’s death, an experienced-looking hospital corpsman approached him through the crowd. In a low, tense voice, the hospital corpsman said:
“Father, you know Mr. Forrestal didn’t kill himself, don’t you?”
Before Sheehy could respond or ask his name, others in the crowd pressed close, and the man quickly departed.

If the Majestic 12 were real, or UFO’s were real, or government cover-ups were real, might we suggest that ‘Ignorance is bliss’?
